The Brass Heart Inn sits on 23 acres of rolling hills, peaceful meadows and beautiful sugar maples at the base of Mt. Chocorua. Nathaniel Hayford began building on this land in 1787, with the Hayford family inviting summer guests to "Hayford House" in the early 1890's. The Harte family continues the tradition of casual fine dining and comfortable elegance, with 12 rooms and 4 cottages to accommodate a variety of rooming needs. Many of the inn's past guests include US Presidents and Hollywood stars. You may enjoy making some time to review the Guest Registers to see whose names you recognize! Fireside dining in the restaurant is a must in winter months, where you can enjoy Flat Iron Steak and Roasted Lamb.The more casual pub offers classics like handmade pub burgers, steamed mussels and local beers. With a renovated barn banquet facility that hosts up to 200 guests, having a wedding or special event here will be something to remember. Come see why our guests return again and again.
